Anita
de Challis (Twin Moons): AUGMENTATION OF ARMS RESUBMISSION from
Laurel, April 2016: Gules, a seeblatt and a chief doubly-arched
Or, and as an augmentation on a canton gules a sun and a moon in her
plenitude in pale within a bordure argent. Caell Robertson (TM): DEVICE CHANGE REUBMISSION from Laurel, December 2014: Sable, two bat-winged, scorpion-tailed lions combatant Or and a bordure rayonny argent.
Elizabeth Æthelwulfes dohtor (Twin Moons): NEW BADGE: Per pale gules and sable, a Kolovrat and in chief a coronet Or. Thomas de Groet notes in the Atenveldt Letter of Presentation that the use of this charge was deemed offensive by the Ansteorran College of Heralds and apparently returned (Ansteorra ILoI dated 02-08-16), because it is a symbol associated with Neo-Nazism. Neither book that I have that might address this, Badges and Insignia of the Third Reich, 1934-1945, by Brian L. Davis and Malcolm McGregor, and The Swastika: Symbol Beyond Redemption?, by Steven Heller, do not mention or illustrate the kolovrat at all (for the record, Heller, a graphic artist, does come to the conclusion that the swastika should continue to be a prohibited symbol). It appears fairly commonly in jewelry sold on Etsy, as a Slavic amulet. I don't think that this symbol's permission or prohibition has been finally ruled upon by the College of Arms, and so I am sending on the submission.
Mons Tonitrus, Barony of: NEW BADGE: Sable, a thunderbolt between flaunches argent all within a bordure denticulada counterchanged.
Ulrica Anna of Twin Moons (TM): NEW NAME and DEVICE: Per pale argent and vert, a dragon segreant contourny sable and a dandelion blossom Or. ffride wlffsdotter provided excellent documentation for the name. Further consultation with the client reagarding problems with the device resolved these issues, and the device being submitted is Per pale raguly argent and vert, a dragon segreant contourny sable and a dandelion slipped and leaved Or.
