NAME CHANGE and NEW BADGE
Old
Item: Seonaid inghean
Mhuireadhaigh, to be
retained as an alternate name.
The
client is adopting the SCA byname of her legal husband, Seamus McDaid
(he provides permission to conflict). MacDade/MacDaid
is found in Black, p. 485, a Scots family name. At the time of
Seamus' registration, McDaid was considered an
acceptable spelling. The clients provide a What she needs is a
Letter Documenting Legal Relationship for Grandfather Clause.
This is a badge to be jointly registered with Seamus McDaid. Seamus' name was registered December 1999. The badge uses elements from Seonaid's registered device, Per pale purpure and argent, three towers counterchanged. (as Seonaid inghean Mhuireadhaigh), and Seamus' registered device, Per pale argent and azure, a shamrock counterchanged. Again, the tincture on the paper form appears as purple.

It is unclear whether a beviled treatment is period for an annulet (as it is for an ordinary like a bend, or a line of division). Also, if it is, the armory registed to Hafr-Tóki should be considered, Sable, a stag's antler in annulo conjoined to itself Or.
